I received an email told me I had to change my account from Pop to IMAP. While attempting to do that, I managed to screw something up. Now, when I open Thunderbird, all of my folders are missing. When I try to get messages, my email provider (Yahoo) times out.The only thing that I can retrieve is my address book. Can someone slowly and carefully explained to me how I can retrieve my account?

Thanks. Jim Birke

Perhaps you could quote the information you received. It does sound like it might be standard fare for yahoo. They often tell their customers to delete stuff. If they have a clue, I do not think it is about email.
