So Firefox did an update. Every time I tried to click on a link in my email, it would open a new window instead of a new tab in my currently opened window. It did not have any of my bookmarks or passwords either. This morning, I unpinned Firefox and went and found the program and re-pinned it to my task bar. Now I have the new version that does not have any of my bookmarks or log ins. Does anyone know how to set my PC back to fix this? I can't lost my bookmarks or my passwords.

hello dpedlar,

  1. Click the Firefox Account icon in the toolbar.
  2. Click Turn on Sync.
  3. On the Sign in page, click Forgot password? Firefox will send you a reset email.
  4. Follow the instructions in your reset email to change your password.
  5. After signing in with your new password, remember to update your password on each of your synced devices.

Note: If you don't see the Firefox Account icon, click on the menu button fx57menu , then Sign in to Sync.

Then follow the given link and recover your bookmarks:
