Syncing with GMail Sent folder

Emails I create and send from my PC via GMail save in my Thunderbird GMail Sent folder and then sync OK to GMail. However, just recently, emails I create and send via GMail from my Android phone (Galaxy S10+) are syncing OK to the GMail Sent folder but the GMail Sent folder is NOT syncing with my PC. I've tried all the settings suggested on the forum but to no avail. I run Windows 10 64bit latest version and Thunderbird 68.9.0. Help please.
