I am lost, at this point. I asked why my E-mails were re-duplicated when I downloaded the new Thurderbird version. I got a reply from Matt who said he had never had such a problem but to send him a screenshot of Troubleshooting information. It took a week, as I was distracted, but when I tried to send the screenshot, this reply function told me it was too many characters, so it wouldn't send. What do I do, now? Further, he sent a link to a program to fix the problem of the duplicate E-mails, but when I try to open it, it says it cannot open (I have tired downloading it more than once) because it is unsupported or has been damaged. This is a nightmare, everything I try is a dead end. Can anyone help?

Well a really good starting point would be to respond on the same topic so I might stand a better than poor chance of finding your reply. I am wandering here looking at old unreplied to topics and this appears if you had replied on the first topic I would have received an email telling me of the event.

This link is to your profile on this site where it says you have two questions. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/user/penname1 Click on that and it will show your old questions. here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/search/advanced?a=1&asked_by=penname1&sortby=1&w=2

Pick you old topic and reply on it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1287915

Just to save some time, paste the troubleshooting information into notepad and copy the first half of it to paste into your reply.

I gave you a link to an addon, not a program. Read this. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-add-ons-frequently-asked-questions
