My global-messages-db.sqlite file is 2.084,640kb. I tried the user forum recommendation of deleting it. (I renamed it.) TB created a new file but that file only contained 100kb of data and still did not include the main profile I have used for the last several years. The folder pain also does not show the default folders (inbox, sent, drafts, none of these display. I tried creating the sent folder and TB said that folder already exists. I did select "show all" under "view/folders." The folders pain does show a previously used profile. My contacts and calendar are intact.
