How do I stop Firefox from blocking my own website URL's as I'm working on my own site?

I have built my own site for years and now since they've made Firefox worse all of a sudden I can no longer view my URL's after I upload them online. This costs me time and money. Also there is no way to add any hyperlinks into the so called "Exceptions" drop down box. Not being able to work on my own website like all the years past is EXTREMELY annoying and costly. Does ANYONE know how I can resolve this issue? Permissions, Security, I've tried all that stuff and none of it works.
