Are/did you use sync? Have you shared files?
My guess is that both computers are using the same Firefox Account which is used for Sync services. Please verify.
Checked we are using different unsynced accounts
I sounds to me that maybe you used each other’s computers to access something that required a username and password. If you have just a few accounts on each other’s computer this seems likely.
In any case, you can link remove the accounts and see if it happens again.
