copy gmail files on to external hard drive
I am selling and buying a house and all the correspondence from the solicitors involved is by email. How can I copy this information to an external hard drive? Thanks Alan

How and where is this information stored? Online? In the computer? As what type of data?
If the information is stored in files (wherever),
just copy those file to wherever you want.
Thanks for your time. I am using Firefox and it's all in gmail under separate labels.
I don't know Gmail. Right-click on the message. Anything useful?
You would probably need to use a dedicated email client like Thunderbird to download all these files and save them as .eml files if Gmail doesn't include this feature or if there are that many that you do not want to use the Gmail download feature.
