WTF is this happening?

I have tried the so-called solution as described here:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-starts-automatically-when-i-restart-window

But it DOESN'T feckin' work!!!

I am done!...who thought this was a "GOOD" idea???

I have also checked the Startup in Task Manager and Mozilla/Firefox is not listed there...

I am going to Chrome until they either fix or remove this damn annoyance.

You can use the Autoruns utility to see what software is getting started (be cautious with disabling services).

Note that it is possible that other software tries to start the default browser, so If Firefox currently is the default browser then set another browser as the default browser.
