Firefox will not open, stays active in Task Manager

This morning, I turned on my PC only to find that my Firefox will not start. It starts in Task Manager, but the browser does not open up. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but it still does not load up. Please help.

Do you have the Firefox icon on your quick launch? Right click on it, and select Open New Window. Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit.
