pdf preference changes

In options, in the General Tab, under Applications, for PDF, I always want to use Adobe Acrobat.

However, often, sometimes twice a day, when I click on a PDF, it will download, in which case I know that the preference has been changed, so I will go back into options and change it from "save file" back to Adobe Acrobat.

This happens all the time, it's super annoying.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Thank you! Refreshing seems to have done the trick, and solved a couple of other minor issues to boot!

I'm going to wait a couple of days to make sure it doesn't reoccur before I hit the "solved" button, but so far, so good!
