Can't read emails
My mails are entering in my Inbox but when I click on them it stays blanc. When I go to my mailbox there's no problem to read my mails. I was thinking to reinstall Thunderbird but I'm afraid to lose my folders...
Thanks in advance.

Hi there P-dej
If you want to keep folders , folders from the -inbox in -from thunderbird, so that you have installed a new version of thunderbird you can use a handy -ADD -on tool.
you can download the tool. it is an export import tool for mmap and also sub-maps if needed.

Thanks for the support guys. The export of the folders went well but I have still the same problem. I removed Thunderbird en installed again but the problem stays te same. The mails are comming in but I can not read them. It is strange that the folders appear after reinstallation without having to import them. This is the message I have after a minute: Server imap.telenet.be has disconnected. The server may have gone offline or there is a network problem What else can I do?
So you have Thunderbird set to download message headers only and when you click a header to get the actual message your providers server is down and you cannot get to the message body. Sounds like it is working as normal. The real problem is why your providers server is not responding.
Since the error indicates you are using IMAP do you have local sync turned on in Account Settings? Right click the account on the left side in the Folder Pane and select Settings. Select Synchronization and Storage for this account. Do you have the option to Keep Messages on this Computer checked? Under Advanced you can select the folders you want to perform this action. With this option set if your providers server takes a day off you can at least read the local copy. Assuming that the server was available to download the messages at all.
Hello there P-dej. We have read your message. You did good.
hello there again, you may have deleted certain files from a index file-program,that also occur on your computer machine. Im looking for you a solution that rebuilt your complete map index. Also reinstallate THE complete operating system is a good option.
It is advisable to also refresh your computer machine's operating system. It could be that the deleted file on your computermachine has to have a reinstallation and it could be solved , simple.
Installing antivirus directly is a good option. To have done this please react back. So that we can help you further.

Talk to your email provider.

It is advisable to also refresh your computer machine's operating system.
Refreshing the OS when the email provider's server isn't responding? Are you kidding? What's next then when this doesn't fix the problem (and I doubt it would)? Format the hard drive and reinstall the OS?
It is the name - an error It is usually recommended to remove everything and install a brand new installation.
including a good antivirus.
