I had saved up a month's worth of data on mozilla's local storage till recently when I cleared history but accidentally ended up clearing the local storage in the process. I choose everything now all my data is gone. It was very sensitive and important. I would really love to know if there is any way, any way at all that I could recover this data. Please anyone

What do you mean data saved into local storage? FF is a Browser not a file manager. Too much confusing information is being told here.

Well actually you can, as long as you don't clear local storage. You just need a few lines of JSON. You just store and parse the data when you need it.

A .localstorage is actually a SQLite db Download a SQLite browser and try to view your file with it http://sqlitebrowser.org/

You would need a backup copy of the storage folder in the profile folder to recover this data.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
