When I open my thunderbird email it does not work I get this pop up: Login to server pop.verizon.net failed.
It has been doing this for to days
I googled the problem and read some Mazola Thunderbird support threads and No help to fix the problem
So basically my thunderbird email does not work and fails to login
I'm tired of this problem. It happened before but I cant remember what fixed it. It was only a temporary fix. because it Thunderbird is not working for no reason again

So that is why AOL keeps getting referred
I googled AOL Mail and used my same login and password as my Thunderbird email, and the AOL Mail page works, so I saved a tool bar link. And also my Thunderbird email is now working at least for now. I Use a Tool bar link for thunderbird also
So now I just Use both a AOL Mail page and a Thunderbird Mail page
Like I said before I use Firefox Browser if Anyone if familiar with Firefox it is a great browser, simple and easy, no BS
Thanks Toadhall for that bit of Info. I know my @verizon.net is a old address and verizon doesn't do internet service anymore

Test: Are you able to logon to AOL webmail account via a browser using the same password as stored and used in Thunderbird ?
re : Login to server pop.verizon.net failed. Is that all of the error message? Usually, an error message will say a bit more. Please make sure to tell us all of the error mesage. Word for word.

1. I do not have AOL
2. I copied and pasted the error message so that is word for word
3. Ok server issue. I have TimeWarner cable /Spectrum. So it is their fault? And again I do not have AOL as per your links

All verizon accounts were swapped to aol , but you had to select AOL in order to continue using verizon. This information was sent out to verizon customers quite some time ago.
Are you able to logon to your verizon webmail account using a browser to see verizon emails?

re : TimeWarner cable /Spectrum. I presume TimeWarner cable /Spectrum is probably your Internet Service provider (ISP). You do not need to swap ISP.
