I couldn't find an article which guides me absolutely on how to update preloaded mozilla app.

I have just migrated to ubuntu from windows 10 and haven't had any prior exposure to such methodology. Please guide me since My machine is running version 54.0 still and I want to update it to latest one.

Note you are using a third-party Ubuntu packaged version of Firefox and not a official Linux Firefox build from say www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

You need to find package updates for Firefox in your package manager.
