This morning I opened Thunderbird 52.5.2 and all of my settings for pane background color and font size were changed to what appears to be the default. I looked up every article on this site, followed all of the advice several times, but nothing would return the panes and font to what I need. For example, I went into "color" and set the background to be yellow, but it remains while. I had the Theme Font and Size Changed add-on for the longest time, and it still shows up on my add-ons page. But it does NOT show up anywhere under either Tools>Options settings. There also used to be a symbol for that add-on on the top of the Thunderbird window next to the menu, but it is gone too. It is locked into default and I can't get it out. My eyesight is such that I need contrasting colors to separate the different panes, and thats what I had... until this morning. Any suggestions?

Its an xpi file and there are no instructions for HOW to download it into Thunderbird. When I download it and click on it to install it, it tells me to download another app to open it. I've got the xpi file in my download folder. Now where do I move it?

Thank you. I got it installed. Its not exactly like it was... I can't change the color in the header bars but it will do for now.
