How to stop a page continuing to scroll when swiping with two fingers on a Synaptics driver?

As i scroll down a web page using two fingers any sort of slight scroll causes the page to scroll significantly. It feels incredibly unresponsive and makes it very difficult and not at all user friendly when trying to read an article or browse a website. The two finger scroll feels completely fine, 100% accurate, and very responsive in any other piece of software so it isn't the settings of the Synaptics driver. I have tweaked these settings to make sure and found no difference. It seems to be purely an issue with gestures within Firefox and based upon research I have done this seems to be a recurring issue for many users throughout the years. It's making me want to switch browser where I know I won't be having this issue and that's a shame as I have used Firefox for years and years with no prior issues. It seems to be a problem between Firefox and Synaptics. I am also using the most up to date version of both.

Thanks!

As it says in here, these people wanted it faster. Write your default settings number down. ver 58 I believe fixes some scrolling issues but no idea what. https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/73q8t0/how_to_change_the_tab_scroll_speed_in_ff_quantum/ Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
