How to update firefox and after update Bookmarks are gone?

Hello Team,

I am an SCCM support engineer and i have updated users with version 54. None of the user had back up of the Bookmark and when the update completed, it cleared all the bookmarks they had. How to recover it now?

and we are about to plan for version 55 now. So we need solution about the bookmark issue to proceed?

Could you please help us on the same.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
