What is the new search box on the right of Quick Filter bar in Tbird 52?
Is there any way to remove this new search field so that the actual quick filter field goes back to the far right of the bar where it used to be? I can't find any info about this change in the release notes for 52. Is this something that I turned off so long ago that I've forgotten how?

I was just checking addons while you were responding and you are correct. This seems to be part of an addon called "Expression Search / Google Mail UI 1.2" The code was updated today and that seems to have caused my issue. I've disabled it and everything is working fine now. Sorry that I didn't think to check addons before posting, but thanks for the fast response.

I think you need to provide a screen shot. I don't have one and no-one else reported it yet.
Tried to attach one to the original post, but the upload hung forever. Here's another try:
The blue highlighted field on the far right is the one that showed up when I updated to 52.
I'd use the customisation options to remove it. Any tooltips to say what it does? Note that the others show the corresponding keyboard shortcut, so this one is a bit odd.
Are you using any addons that enhance or extend the searching? There are addons that combine global search into quickfilter, or replace either one by an alternative. (I use Expression Search).
