Unexpected error upon attempting to sign in.
Hmm, somehow I am unable to sign into Sync over the past few days or perhaps a week even, idk. At first I got an "Email just returned" error upon trying to sign in, and now I end up with an "Unexpected error". Entering about:sync-log doesn't show any entries from the present day relating to the error.
And to make sure that this has nothing to do with the plugins I have on my installation, I tried signing in on a clean Firefox config to no avail.

huckleberrypie, it looks like our server received an automated "the user flagged this message as spam" notification for your account, which blocks us from sending any more emails. We've cleared the flag on your account, can you please try logging in again?

Yes I get the exact same output as the one you mentioned.

Okay, next think we can try. In Firefox Desktop see if you can use this URL to sign in:
https://accounts.firefox.com/signup?context=fx_desktop_v3&entrypoint=fxa%3Asignup&service=sync
Please also specify the Firefox version that you are using.
Thanks and sorry about this!
I am using Firefox 55, and no, the one on the URL you gave didn't work either.
Hi huckleberrypie, the "Email just returned" error often means that our servers received a bounce or complaint notification when we tried to send you an email, and we've blocked any further sending of emails to that account. If you're happy to, please share your account email address with me via private email (to rfkelly at mozilla.com) and I can ask our ops team to check whether this may be the problem with your account.
(This situation does *not* usually produce an "unexpected error" message, but it may be that there's second bug being triggered by your account being in this state).

Thanks, and yeah it seems to have accounted for the bug in question. Check your inbox too, just sent you my email address for further investigation on your part.

Thanks, I've passed this on to our ops team and will let you know what we find.
