Where is the cache on Firefox version 54.0.1 (32 bit)?
Can anyone give me the directory path to the Mozilla Firefox 54.0.1 (32 bit) cache? I had a desktop short cut to the cache on my previous version of Firefox. When I updated, the shortcut didn't work any more so I deleted it. Then I went looking for the new cache - and can't find it anywhere. (Windows 7's totally useless search function didn't help at all. Why does Microsoft so consistently discontinue good features of their op systems from later versions? Rhetorical question.)
The real (and simple) question is "Where's the cache?" Thanks to anyone who can tell me.

You can see the file path of the disk cache on the about:cache page. There are also buttons on the about:profiles page.
You can open "about:" pages via the location/address bar
- "about:" is a protocol to access special pages
Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder, so make sure to look in the correct location. Location used for the main profile in "AppData\Roaming" that keeps your personal data.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Location used for the disk cache and other temporary files in "AppData\Local".
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Easy when you know how - impossible when you don't! :D
I've located the cache, created a new shortcut, and deleted almost everything. I find this helps to keep open tabs up to date, and also seems to prevent hangs and crashes.
