Running most recent nightly and having an issue with session restore. Though they give an outward appearance of not reloading, it appears that firefox is indeed reloading the content of the tabs. I have used both tcpview to see the many, many connections made as well as wireshark.

I have verified that :

browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand is set to true (default value)

In addition, I have all dns prefetching disabled.

Of note, I noticed that (as one example) an Amazon tab even was connecting to keepa.com as I have the keepa plugin.

So, how do I make firefox revert back to the previous behavior that it would not load any tab content on a session restore until the tab was selected?

With unstable Nightly build you can never be sure if this is a regression or some other issue. Best is always to first test this with a clean profile.

If that still isn't working then check out the daily threads at the mozillaZine Builds forum site to see if this is a known issue.
