Firefox 54.0 no longer prints anything. whathappened? I had to roll back to 53.03 to get it to work again.

last week I suddenly could not print receipts from a cloud based system I use for my business. It was fine the week before. The Firefox version I have on my home computer , which I did not allow to update to 54.0 was working just fine when asked to print. During trouble shooting on the affected office computer, I found I could not print ANYTHING from the firefox browser, but other individual applications such as email and open office could print fine, so it was not the printer or windows drivers. I cleared the cache on firefox, updated windows to the latest and still no printing. I finally installed a revision backwards to ver 53.03 and everything works again. what happened to 54.0?
