You have to create an account on box.com. If you don't have an existing Box account, follow these steps:

  • Open Tools > Options > Attachments > Outgoing
  • Click on Add… to add a new Filelink storage service
  • Click on Get a Box account… to register for a Box account
  • After you have completed registration, you can click Set up Account and specify your email address and password for Box.com

I have an account, but I cannot click on "set up account" as the program doesn't show me Box or Dropbox (after installed the add) on the available providers see the picture (sorry it is in Italian)

Maybe the Dropbox account is messing things up? Can you restart Thunderbird in safe-mode to see if you do see the Box account setup that way? It should be displayed by default.

You can start Thunderbird in safe-mode by holding the Shift-button when starting Thunderbird or from the menu Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled…
