My boss has an ASUS ROG computer with an i7 processor and the NVIDIA GTX970M. He's not had problems with firefox until about a month ago, when it would intermittently pause after about every 20 characters or so. But the problem has gotten worse. The browser is incredibly slow, and he opened up Facebook to wish someone a happy birthday, and when he pasted something he had copied from a word document, the text freaked out and began big, then changed to normal size.

I don't know what is going on, but... It's infuriating him, and my boss isn't an easy man to work with when he's irritated. Someone please help! We've already tried resetting firefox, and reinstalling. Firefox is the only browser this issue occurs on. The worsening of the problem coincided with a Windows update.

If you need more information, I'll do my best to supply it.

We've found the problem. Apparently RealPlayer was causing lag issues with Firefox. At this time, I believe the issue is resolved.
