How can I retreive my password?

more options

I used Thunderbird a few years ago and stopped because my estimate writing program would not honor it anymore. I changed to another and it worked. Last year I changed to a better program, was told to use windows live, well they don't honor that one anymore, was told by programmer to use Mozilla again. So, I don't know my password, nor anything else to get back in. Please help. Thanks, Charles Dickinson, Dickinson Body Works

You'll need to work with your email provider for resetting your password. Check their support web site and look for password recovery options.

Yahoo cannot help, it has to be done by Mozilla.

Who told you that?

Yahoo said I have to get with Mozilla.

Here is the bottom line. There is no password to Thunderbird. Your email requires a password to get your messages from your providers servers. That password is administered with your provider. Only you working with your provider can reset a forgotten password. Yahoo is the worlds worse provider and they reinforce that every day.
