Looks like those crashes are related to Sophos Endpoint Software.

Mozilla is working on a fix for startup crashes that are related to Endpoint used by other security applications; may be related.

Sophos is installed since many years on my PC and I have been using Firefox for the last couple of years as well. Why is the crash happening since few days only and what can I do? Wait for the fix or change browser, because it is delicate when I am in the middle of a form or paying through a secure connection as date is getting lost. The freezing occurs without any activity from my side, it already happened now when I was just typing my text here! Thank you
