I keep getting error messages when opening home page CNN, have tried all other suggestions from Firefox including typing about:config in the address bar, finding dom.max_script_run_time, double clicking on it and entering value prompt 20 as per mozilla support. When this did not work went back and reset, also per mozilla instructions.

I would try to start in Safe Mode but don't know how to do this.

We need to know the full message.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
