I'd suggest copying Thunderbird's profile from the old user account to the new one. That moves everything in one hit, including email account settings. Would that be acceptable?

Otherwise, it is possible to move just selected mailstores but you have to do some detective work to find out which folders in the old profile you will need to move to the new.
