Hello! I'm new on this forum; best greetings to all.

On my new laptop (upgraded to windows 10) embedded videos in my web site pages don't work as they do with windows 7. Examples: links "the tesseract", "the 120-cell"... at the end of the page

  http://maths.ac-noumea.nc/polyhedr/polytop_.htm

I use mediaplayer.swf which is in the same directory .../stuff/ Works fine in Firefox windows 7, but not with windows 10.

I made a test on an other computer running Windows 10 and it works fine. What could be the reason of my problem? a wrong setting in my Firefox? or in my Windows 10? I made twice a clean new install of Firefox, with a new profile (no extensions, all plug-ins but Java disabled); unfortunately no change: the video popup windows remain hopelessly black. Works fine in IE. In Edge of course no Java, but the videos play in new windows (no small popup windows). I would appreciate any suggestion.

Chosen solution

SOLVED It was only the absence of a flash plugin in Firefox on the concerned laptop! I believed that it was not necessary when using mediaplayer.swf. No message invites to install the missing plugin; that could be improved. I'm sorry for asking a solution for this stupid problem. Best greetings.
