Problem continues - Firefox constantly crashing - can anyone help?
I'm still having this problem. Today it has crashed 5 times. All those times, it hasn't been in use. Just suddenly I see the "Firefox has crashed, this is embarrassing" box. I wish someone could shed some light on what's happening so I can fix it.
I've had this problem for as long as I've had this machine. MacBook pro 10.9.5; 2.3 GHz, 16 GB. Have tested all things according to the Firefox "what to do" list. I don't use extensions, themes etc.
This crashing happens even when I'm not doing anything i.e. my machine can be sitting there idle, I come back into the room and see "the Firefox has crashed window". Sometimes it crashes when I'm using another browser. Sometimes it crashes while working in an Adobe application and Firefox is open but not being used.
Here is the report i.d. from the latest crash (May 5th): Crash ID: bp-2e9d421c-a281-4997-9490-37ead2160505 And, here is one from May 5th, in case it has different information that might be helpful: bp-fbb3d21a-0062-4336-8071-e65252160504.txt
I hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance.
