cant open downloads

downloads are visible, but cant open. click on download, but nothing happens. Have tried disabling AVG, but no difference.

What kind of downloads? Did you click, or double click?

Thanks fred, all downloads, recent update for flash player and new ripper are the latest. Single click, double click, right click and open command. All of the above

Did you verify that the files are stored in the specified download location or are possibly left in the Windows %temp% folder?
