more options

never had this problem. Ive got hundreds of bookmarks on my other computer under firefox, that i want to move over to this one which is 44.0.2 but i really do not like the fact i cannot control the way i want my bookmarks. by being in date order, i know roughly when i was looking through those pages. The way it is now I will have to look at the title of the page every time in order to know where it will be alphabeticaly down the page.......please help

Where inside of Firefox have you been able to do a "Sort by Added" in the past?

I know that "Sort by Added" can be done in the Library window, using the Views drop-down in Sort and then select Sort by Added to show bookmarks in the selected folder listed by the data those bookmarks were originally saved. But that "sort" is temporary, it lasts only as long as Library window is open. It goes away once the 'Library' is closed. So I doubt that is what you are talking about.

The default Firefox installation doesn't have a permanent way to "Organize" bookmarks in the order they were saved in Firefox. Perhaps you have been using an extension which "extended Firefox features" by the addition of that feature to Firefox. I never used that type of extension, so it would be helpful if we knew which extension that is to be able to help you.
