Firefox crashes

Hi, I see Firefox crash on opening a certain pptx file previewing. The pptx file seems transformed into pdf for previewing and the original pptx file size is 5.5MB. Crash happens almost 30 seconds to 50 seconds after opening the preview image. Firefox is today's latest 44.0.2 OS is Windows 7 and 10 both resulted in crash. 3 different PCs reproduce the crash. I am also asking the application service provider's help desk, but Firefox crashes and I cannot save HAR file and send it to them.

Any help is welcome, like how I can get meaningful information to the application service provider, or workaround I can take to avoid the crashes. At least I want to know which party, mozilla or the application service provider should handle this issue.

hi boxvpndem, this crash appears to happening as the system is running out of available memory. in case you can reproduce this reliably with a particular document (that you could also share in public), i'd encourage you to get a bug about this issue on file at bugzilla.mozilla.org. http://dblohm7.ca/blog/2014/08/14/diffusion-of-responsibility/
