I'm on YOUtube or any other website and need to know how to get back to home page without shutting down and re-opening firefox

I open Firefox to my home page and then go to another website (any website) and want to get back to my hone page. I am ahving to shut down Firefox and re0open it to get back to the home page. On IE all I had to do was click on the little house that was always there at the top of my screen/.
