I can't see my cursor in gmail. Google suggested I may have turned off the cursor using a quick key by mistake. Any ideas?

I recently re-loaded Firefox because it was moving very slowly. Now I can see my emails and send emails (gmail), but I can't see my cursor. It's annoying. When I tried to ask Google about it, they suggested I look at the quick keys (shortcuts) in Firefox. I think I may have turned off my cursor by mistake. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I can see the cursor in other programs (Word, etc.).

Hit F7 - you may have turned on "caret browsing which will put the flashing cursor where you click on a web page.
