"olympia" is the codename for addons.mozilla.org - it is hosting things like the blocklist for unsafe addons, crashy graphics drivers and gets pinged daily in default firefox configurations: How to stop Firefox from making automatic connections not sure about "ioncheck" - maybe this is shortened for "versioncheck"?
