I have just upgraded from macbook air to an imac - running System 'El Capitan'. Now, when I create an email and include an attached PDF, I can't open the PDF from the attachment window to check I am sending the correct file. I always used to be able to do this. The only thing that now happens is Thunderbird deposits a file named like this....'eb+o9lEp.pdf.part' on my desktop which has to be cleared into the waste basket. Is this a settings issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks - John
