msn.com opens in a tab by itself
I am running Windows 10 on a Dell Laptop. I am running Firefox 41.0.2. In the last few days, a tab for MSN.com just opens spontaneously whenever i am using the browser. I ran Malware bytes and it did not find any Malware. How do I fix this?

What were you and Firefox doing at the time? How often does this happen?
I was reading nytimes.com when this happens. it happened a couple times yesterday. So far it has not repeated itself as of today
If it happens again, try to remember what were you and Firefox doing. Does that web page have a link to msn?
It has happened a couple more times today. It seems to happen when I lose my wifi connection and I have to reconnect. BTW there is no link to MSN on any page
