cannot unistall firefox or thunderbird

I try to uninstall firefox & thunderbird but it will not do it. I did not install this as another person did

Why could you not un-install the programs? Error messages?

Download the current full installer of the program.

Start your Computer in safe mode.

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Look for, and rename any Mozilla or Firefox folders by adding .old to them. DO NOT delete your Profiles you find in a search for any Mozilla or Firefox folders. Then run the installer. If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done.
