will not let me click on a link to the White House since I refreshed Firefox, says the certificate is not secure, but it is an email from the white house

more options

Each day the White House sends out a summary via email called White House Snapshot. I can open the email, but Firefox will not let me click on any of the links to find out more info. It will not let me reply to the White House to share that I am having a problem. This began when I refreshed Firefox after it crashed at least once a day. I get a message as per image.

What should I do?

ALSO: called a number Contact Firefox Support - Call (Toll Free) (1877) 477-1515.

Firefox.BrowserSupport.co

Call (Toll Free) (1877) 477-1515. Get Contact Help for Mozilla Firefox. This company tried to get personal information and credit card information from me. The man said he was Firefox support and he had to charge me to fix Firefox. He was insistent. I hung up.

Thank you for hanging up on whoever that was. There is (unfortunately) no official phone support for Firefox.

Unfortunately, your image did not find its way into this thread, so it would be great if you could reply to this thread and attach the image again.

Meanwhile, to try to get to the bottom of this:

Is https://www.whitehouse.gov/ the only HTTPS site that gives you problems?

Or if you check the error page, is the error on an intermediate server?

Often bulk mail passes through a service that tracks which links readers respond to, so the error could be with them instead of the White House.
