videos stutter when on watching them from youtube

It started last week, never happened before. I have tried watching the same videos using internet explorer and are ok. What has happened? My plugins are up to date. Any suggestions? Thanks

I presume that is with HTML5? Maybe try using Flash instead. You can force YouTube to send videos as Flash with this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/youtube-flash-video-player/
