How can I un-install 39 and down grade version? 39 won't work with my company financials.

I recently upgraded Firefox on my Mac laptop (running Mavericks) to version 39. Now I find that version 39 won't work with my company financials. They have advised downgrading to a previous version. How do I downgrade? Thanks.
