I had no problem of this sort before today. I installed CCleaner few days back to remove cookies and things. I didn't made back-up of anything and today I tried to download a Youtube file, but I couldn't. I paused the file and when I resumed it, it failed. I tried this many times but nothing is helping me out. My Firefox version is 32.0.3. I have noticed one thing. Whenever I was able to resume a file, I saw that Firefox creates two files in the download directory: A part file and the original file(size is always 0 KB). But this time, only the part file is being created, and I think this is the cause of the problem. I just can not resume any file. No Add-ons, no antivirus problem or anything. tried Resetting Firefox, launching in safe-mode, Uninstalled CCleaner, Reinstalled Firefox, but nothing seems to help me. Please help me out guys :/

Unfortunately, most downloads have an expiration time. The best thing you can do is to just start the download again.

Do you have any issues with your web service or internet speed?

There is an issue with Firefox. Internet speed is good. And this is not about expiration time. I download a video and pause it right then. And then right away I resume and get the "failed" error.

Don't pause downloads unless you need to.
