When I drag and drop to desktop from address bar I get a blank icon on my desktop computer and laptop with w7 &8,but this does not happen in chrome or iexplorer

I have tried all the posted "solutions" to this problem and none of them do anything. Since this is not occuring with explorer or chrome it is not a system problem. Also it happens on my desktop and laptop running w7 and w8.1 in firefox but not the other two browers. I am running 37.0.2 on both OS's and machines. This did not use to happen. This is clearly a firefox bug and not a feature. Please help.
