Hi Guys,

Hope you can help me with my issue.

Firefox seems to be constantly crashing, as far as I can tell it's often flash related content that does it.

I've tried updating flash/shockwave/java.

I've updated all my drivers including my graphics drivers.

I've tried changing flash player to protectedmode=0

I've tried running in safe mode

Here are some of the most recent log reports, if someone could have a look at these and help identify what's going wrong that would be great.

Ok for some reason I don't seem to be able to copy the links either, some advice on how to copy links from about:crashes would be appreciated too.

Cheers

Hi Fred,

Thanks for the reply but I have tried everything you had listed except sfc /scannow which I just ran and returned "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".

I've checked every one of my computer's drivers including my graphics.

Already run in protected mode, already tried disabling hardware acceleration.

I've tested both flash and shockwave flash and they work fine on the test sites

I've done a good number of the things listed under your troubleshooting link and others I haven't just seem unlikely to help.

Cheers anyway

Hi Fred,

Just had a look at the fixit link, seems to be for internet explorer / windows but I tried running the one for crashing playing video files in IE which couldn't find any problems. The other to fix generic problem in IE wouldn't run and gave me a message "We're sorry, but your operating system is not supported by Microsoft Fix it at this time. " Presumably Microsoft don't yet support this for Windows 8.1

Thanks for taking the time anyway.
