I would like to send out email to a mailing list I put together. How do I do this?
I would to send out a "special offer" to a small mailing list. I have created the list already. Obviously I want to send it as a BCC. How do I do this? Do I address it to myself first and in the following line BCC the Mailing List? I would appreciate some advice please. Thank you.

Yes, that is the common way to do it. The recipients will see only your email address.
Thank you for your reply. Do I simply attach the "name of the mailing list as a whole" or do I go in and copy and paste all addresses?
If you have defined the addressees as a group in your address book, you can just use that one group name. Otherwise you need to select them all from the address book list. A quick way to select all is to turn on the Contacts sidebar (F9), single left click one of them and then hold down the Control key and type A (Control-A). That should highlight all of them. Then click 'Add to Bcc".

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
this is the constant error message I get. Do you have any idea whats going on or what I may be doing wrong?
Can you send a message individually? How many are you trying to send at once? You may need to send in smaller batches.
When you have clicked one address in the address book, you can select additional names by holding down the Control key while you left click one time on each additional name. Then let go of Control and click 'Add to Bcc".
I will try that. However Iam also trying to send it to myself and then it tells me the mailbox is not available??? anyway I will try attaching them all individually and see if that works.

No, 15 is not very many - I was envisioning several hundred. Try sending a message to yourself or a friend with no BCC. Then try with CC; then try BCC. It shouldn't make any difference, but maybe we can isolate the problem.
I have tried to send to my self only and that works. I will try now with CC and BCC. Then I will get back to you
yes it works, I will have to try to attach them all separately and try again.
If you send them one at a time, you don't have to bother with BCC!
Do you have gmail? I've heard there are some problems with BCC, but I can't remember what.
No I am not trying to send it from my gmail account, I am using mail.com.
