I keep getting pop-overs saying my Java is out of date. I already have updated Java and removed any previous versions to prevent a false reading. How do I block this from happening. This occurs on all of my computers when using Firefox. It is getting out of control.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

I have run a virus scan (McAfee, updated today), malware scan (Malwarebytes, updated today), and system/registry scan (Seedy PC Pro, updated yesterday). No issues were found. And I still have the problem.

Try disabling all of your add-ons to see if that fixes the problem, or follow the advice from the-edmeister to remove the malware.
