I am working on developing an app for the site vk.com It is in alpha now and is not shown for all users.

I need to check the app in mozilla firefox, but I can't - firefox doesn't want to load the app because it is blocked (my test domen has old certificate, but I can't update it myself) and the section "I understand the risk" is not shown for me :(

Can somebosy help me?

Here is the screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8tsfgoioi03wyhk/firefox.png?dl=0 firefox version is 32.0.3

Chosen solution

I restarted firefox and firefox updated itself to 33. The issue dissapeared.

Google says that firefox had issues with some certificates (my certificate was ok in other browsers, i just bought it, but it was a cheep certificate), but I don't see the issue in firefox 33. The question is resolved.

In Firefox 32 you are still able to disable libPKIX support in Firefox, but it is not recommended to leave it disabled on the long run for security and vulnerability reasons.

  • about:config page: security.use_mozillapkix_verification = false

Note that Firefox 32 is no longer safe and that you should update to Firefox 33 or use the Firefox 32.2.0 ESR version. Support for the security.use_mozillapkix_verification pref to disable PKIX has been removed in Firefox 33.
