Where are you looking for that filter option?

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

"Tell me when a website asks to store data for offline use" is in Advanced/Options/Network. This is what I was looking for.

Enable this to help block out lame worthless and malicious cookies.

The "Tell me when a website asks to store data for offline use" setting has nothing to do with cookies. That is only about special applications that want to store data so you can run that application when you are offline.

All cookie settings are in *Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
